Colorado hospital prices vs. Medicare

A new report by the nonpartisan RAND Corp. looks at what privately insured patients pay at Colorado hospitals versus what Medicare would pay for the same service. The numbers below are expressed as an average percentage of all charges relative to Medicare rates. For example, a hospital at 300% charges privately insured patients three times what Medicare pays.

Note: This chart excludes some small Colorado hospitals for which RAND did not have complete data.
